It's going to be a long weekend for the working people next week as Malacañang announced the suspension of work in Metro Manila in time for the ASEAN Summit which will be held in Pasay City.

The declaration was made by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea by authority of President Rodrigo Duterte through Memorandum Circular No. 18.

As stated in the memorandum, all government offices in the cities of Manila, Makati and Pasay will have a non-working day on April 27, Thursday and on Friday, April 28 will be a non-working day for the government and private offices in Metro Manila.

It will be another getaway and good break for everyone.
